Hello

I'm Karli Jordan Riley, your exceptional sports kid.  I love softball, and track and field.  I practice very hard; I am very consistent and persistent.  My parents are very great in supporting me and sharing in my dream of one day competing in the Olympics.  Since I attended the LSU Youth Softball Clinic, I also aspire to play sports at LSU (Louisiana State College) -- Go Tigers!

Being a kid athlete can be very expensive.  I have personal trainers that cost $200 a week, not including my travel, gear, and uniforms.  I would be very grateful if you could help by donating to my sports goals and dreams.  Any amount you give is appreciated, but for those who are corporations, I would be very grateful if you would please consider sponsoring me at the corporate level?

My Story

I started playing softball at the age of eight for the neighborhood recreational park. After my first game, I hit a home run and I really enjoyed the sport. Coaches and trainers, began to encourage my parents to push me forward  by giving extra time and support to the sport.  I began to excel in my training proving I had great fielding, hitting and pitching techniques.  It all paid off, the hard work and dedication.   In my second year my coach chose me as pitcher, which is a great responsibility as a player.  After hard work and dedication I received four MVP (Most Value Player) awards, and a championship ring.  I guess you can say, 'I'm a baller'.  I work hard at my craft, with training lessons twice a week and team practices -- I love softball.

I also discovered I'm a pretty good runner.  My first year in competing in track and field, I won district championship for girls 8 years old.  I continue to win in track and field, as I won state championship in the ten year olds category.  I have grown to become very competitive in my sports journey, as I am motivated, dedicated and practice daily to be the best.   I currently play travel softball for the Grits Travel Team as a pitcher, hitter and outfielder.

Finally, sports can't be the only thing that I pursue, as my parents continually encourage me to do well in my academics as well.  I'm a pretty good learner and do well in school too.  My average is a 3.8 and I love reading.  My mom encourages me to to read a different book a week; whew.  I discovered reading is educating and most times very interesting.  Because of my athletic career I have a tutor to help me maintain my academic average.  I would be  most grateful for your donations, as it helps my parents with my sports and educational budget.

Thank you for stopping by; you did not have to spend your time getting to know me and my story.  I appreciate you and would be very grateful if you donate, sponsor or just send me encouraging words.
